THE BIGGEST GAMES ANNOUNCED FOR 2024 AND 2025

Each year brings along a new catalogue of video games that fans are eagerly anticipating. 2023 was impressive, with titles such as Baldur’s Gate 3, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare III. Still, fans can’t stop thinking about what comes next: 2024 already has a strong lineup, with lots of games yet to be announced.

GTA VI

GTA 6 is one of the most popular games of all times, so we can say with certainty that players around the world want more details about the next Grand Theft Auto game. Currently, Rockstar Games is preparing us for some new info, considering they’ve just released the first GTA 6 trailer.

Among the announced games, it seems that GTA 6 might offer the most detailed open world we’ve seen so far, if Rockstar Games manages to follow the success of GTA 5. Now we know this time we’ll be back in Vice City – which means that GTA 6 missions could reference some quite iconic movies. One thing is for sure: when it comes to graphics, the game already looks quite impressive.

WARHAMMER 40,000: SPACE MARINE 2

Captain Titus and the Ultramarines from Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 carry a significant weight on their shoulders in this upcoming third-person shooter game. Not only that the big blue ones are fighting face to face with Xenos thirsty for human blood, but they also have to live up to certain standards set by the previous edition.

Focus Entertainment was originally planning to launch the Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 during “winter of 2023”, but in November 2023 they’ve postponed it to “second half of 2024”. They’ve promised us a new sneak peek in December, which we’ve got during The Game Awards, together with the new release date – September 7th 2024.

STAR WARS OUTLAWS

Star Wars Outlaws is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment, where the player takes on a role of an outlaw on a journey through the Star Wars galaxy. The game is set between Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope and Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back: one of the most dramatic periods in the Star Wars history. In the role of Kay Vess, you’ll fly, talk and shoot trying to make your way through a civil war between the evil Galactic Empire and the brave uprising. As Kay, you’ll have to be a step ahead of the law while you’re fighting for survival on the edges of the civilized universe.

THE LAST OF US PART II

Naughty Dog has officially announced The Last of Us Part II Remastered for PS5, after a series of information leaks about the game. It was released on January 19th 2024, just as the leaks were confirming.

It seems that the most important new addition is the “roguelike survival mode” named No Return, which is “designed to allow players to show their courage in randomized encounters and experience fights in The Last of Us Part II in a new way” – as said by Jonathon Dornbush from Naughty Dog in a blog post. You get to play as new characters and go through “various encounters that will set you up against different enemies, with unique twists that can add new, unexpected factors to any given encounter”.

FINAL FANTASY XVI: THE RISING TIDE

Final Fantasy XVI  players will soon be able to enjoy two new DLC chapters for the critics’ favorite action RPG, very soon. The other DLC, called The Rising Tide, comes out in spring of 2024. You’ll have to pay for both DLCs, but the players can buy Final Fantasy XVI Expansion Pass to enjoy both chapters at a lower price. The Rising Tide brings new challenges and more, including a battle between Clive and a legendary Eikon, Leviathan.

All of these games can be played on new Tesla Vision monitors.
